Hey Daggerwin I live in the the US and silage would be fairly normal due to there being large feed lots all over the south. There is also laws in several states that require any vehicle that is traveling more then 5 mph under the posted speed limit or taking more then there lane to use hazard flashers while on the public road way.

The sheep and the cows require the same type of food. Maybe have those two and pigs on another map. I think it would be easier.

Cows also require straw and TMR ("power food") which he have to make and usually takes a long time for daggerwin to do it (no routine). I would say daggerwin should only use one animal type per map. So sheeps on Drumard, Pigs on American Outback and later on sometime at a map change switch one of them to cows.

I believe American Outback is based in the Arizona area of the United States. I only say that because I am from the USA and live in Idaho. This is not the first time I've played American Outback. It was out for FS15 as well. Secondly, it is required, at least here in the Idaho, that slow moving vehicles, such as tractors, use both flashers and beacons, if equipped. Finally, I added up your bales. You got 31 in the first row, there are 4 full rows and one short row. I bet you'll end up with around 130 bales in total.

Daggerwin, in America farmers are required to have their beacons and hazards flashing. They are also required to Have a slow moving vehicle sign on the back of the tractor. Shoutout from Oregon.

I would say about 90% of people in America, at least where I live, do not use beacon lights and only use hazard/ four way lights. Also I have never seen anyone around me ever use a straw swath.

American law requires any heavy vehicle (i.e. Tractor or construction equipment) must have their hazards on, as well as beacons if in a populous area. I used to live in Illinois and whenever I drove somewhere during harvesting there were always tractors carting to the farms. They always had hazards on. Hope that helped.

Daggerwin in America you dont have to have a beacon on a tractor unless you have a wide/oversized load. Otherwise on a tractor going down the road, you need you hazards on all the time.

From where I come from in america, the hazard lights you do have to use them on the road, and some large american tractors have "wings" basically it's a long stick with hazard lights at the end, and yes american tractors are made with hazard lights built into the roof of the cab. Hope this helped;) P.S. we use beacons when working in fields, not with combines though

In the U.S. flashers and an orange triangle are "the law". The orange marker triangle comes standard on most any tractor here.

Hi, yes that baler with this trailer works nice. The HOT online team (note: they are the authors of the UAL-script) had permission to alter the baler of the ARM Team. It can pick up the "smal" bales.

Just a heads up, not ALL bale stackers come in the form of flatbeds. Although a bit old and filthy I've used an old HW80 trailer that has an interesting approach to bale stacking. Especially the small and standard sized bales as what comes out of Wenger type balers.

This map seems to be Utah. You do need your hazard lights on in the US. Most of the farm equipment around here doesn't even have beacons. I always thought it was odd to see them on tractors in this game. I don't know about the mod, but there should be a bale stacker for the conventional bales. We have a New Holland bale stacker at my parents farm IRL.

In most states in the US traffic moving slower than the speed limit are required use hazard lights to warn other drivers. Corn silage is mostly done on dairy farms in the US

If it matters to you, yes, large vehicles that are moving slower than I think 35 MPH on a main road must have their hazard lights on. But I've seen plenty of farmers forget to do that so not putting them on is pretty realistic too. :D

Hey Daggerwin, when you get to planting corn, why not harvest as CCM (CCM mod and CCM Auger are available on the modhub). Functionally you harvest corn as normal, unload the harvester into the CCM auger, you then ferment the mix in a silage bunker. Bonuses - CCM has a higher yield than regular corn, pigs will eat CCM, CCM is higher value than regular corn. Equipment requirements are less than a chaff/silage harvest. And most important - it's something different!!

US harvests tons of corn as the grain, not so much for silage. used for HFCS and ethanol for fuel, and the grain is fed to livestock as well.

You ought to do cattle and sheep on your more mixed or grassy maps and keep your pigs on the arable maps. Since the pigs require grain and root crops and straw, it will be more economical to keep pigs on the arable maps since you will have all the equipment. If you keep cows or sheep on a map with pigs, it means you will have to keep foraging equipment on those maps, which will be an extra cost for little real benefit. If you keep the cows and sheep together, you can use your foraging equipment for both animal types.
