I usually harvest the edges first for easy turn around on the long runs especially if you have a long header cutter and annoying trees getting in the way when turning, if trees are in the way chainsaw them first makes it a lot easier I found

You’re a life saver lol brand new to farm simulator and it seems fun but I’m lost and want to learn bad lol was confused on if I had harvested the crop because it was in rows but I think I did.

One tip I would add is to make sure your header is rated for the right kind of crop. On the base game with default equipment, I accepted a contract to harvest a sunflower field. I ran my harvester over it and nothing happened. It turns out the harvester can do sunflower but the default header can't.

Yo CJ!!! Love the content 🥰 great work and a much needed tutorial. Can you show what equipment you would buy over others. Ie a certain seeder, or spreader. Liquid or solid fertiliser for the beginners I get so confused on what to buy and what multi purpose equipment to use.

You said something very interesting at about 3:50. Referring to tractor horsepower and ability to pull trailers or use certain equipment, how do you know what horsepower you need? That’s been something I’m struggling with and have wasted tons of money on equipment I couldn’t even pull or use because my tractors are too small. Thanks!

Hey there! So when you go into your store and let’s say you need a baler but your not sure about the HP it may need to pull it, when you click on that specific tool if you’ll look down to the left of that tool, it should give you a number somewhere in that area about how much hp it requires to pull it. I’ll do a tutorial on this Monday and explain it so that it’s better understood.

What's the swath thing do? And what do you do with the stuff in the silo? I'm a giant farming noob lol

Lol it’s all good man. No worries at all. So the swath is basically something that allows you to drop the extra grain from your wheat behind the harvester. You can then either pick that up with a loading wagon and feed it to your horses or chickens, or you can bale it up with a baler and go sell it at the store. Furthermore, I have a playlist that’s gonna change your life and help you in so many ways with your farming career. This is my Beginner’s Guide tutorials for FS22.
