Farmington, W.E.ROCK 2023

This was such a fun event. We had a blast and actually did the best we've ever done. Super thankful for everyone that came out to meet us and cheer us on. Watch as we play around and dodge cones. I know this isn't about recovery but it's a fun sport that we enjoy and has definitely helped over the years in helping me become a better offroad driver. I appreciate all you guys and very thankful for my team and the love and support you guys show us. Thank you.

One of the things I love about this channel is the 'brains over brawn'; or maybe 'skills over dollars' approach. All of your builds from Mater to Blue to the buggy are relatively basic self-built rigs without 6-figure hardware and yet you prove over and over that skill trumps cubic dollars every time. As a marshal (judge) I thank you for pointing out we are volunteers letting others have fun. In the UK we often have a Steward who can review a decision if you really feel the need. We tend to say you need to see the vehicle hit the cane/cone to call it. If unsure then benefit of the doubt. As competitors we need to support the marshals/judges otherwise we won't have any 😮 Drivers can learn a lot from judging and trying to be both fair and consistent.
