I grew up in Silvis Illinois,15 miles from Cordova. My dad took us there quite a few times. This was in the early 80's. Lots of great memories there!!! I especially remember seeing The Lava Machine twin jet engine drag car. That thing shook my entire body!!!!

@@FarmtruckandAZN Hey AZN, you and Farmtruck were in Ogden ,Utah cruisin Washington Blvd. Anyways, I was like 16 or 17(aprox 1997 or so). I was with my friend Mike Elton at the time. We were parked and for some reason I was being a total jack ass and did something so uncalled for it makes me sick to this day. I was trying to be a Billy badass and was talking crap to AZN because he was (in my dumb ass opinion) being "different" . I know this isn't the best way to apologize. I am soo soo sorry for my totally uncalled for actions. I hope one day I can tell you in person how sorry I am. I understand if you can't accept my apology. I want to thank you for not having my butt kicked at the time but I totally needed it. I wish I wasn't such a coward and truly needed to be taught a lesson. Again ,please find it in your heart to forgive me some day. God bless you both for what you do and for all the positivety you share with everyone you encounter. Stay safe out there.

Cordova was my home track in the 1970's.....moved out of that area in 1981 and havent been back since. I need to get back out that way some day, soon. LOTSA GOOD TIMES OUT THERE.....good times..... Better times...

Looked like a Good time there, I couldn't go this year. Time the FarmTruck to go on a Diet. Time to Switch to some lightweight Aluminum Front & Rear suspension, Maybe get some Center line Aluminum Rims painted white, so it still looks stock. I'd Titanium Bolts, Nuts and fasteners everything.

@@FarmtruckandAZN I kinda suspected that it wasn't the Paul Walker Chevy 2 wagon and let me say thanks for confirming that because I just won 50 bucks because my friend wanted to make a bet with me that it was the same car and then he said you know how crazy that Farmtruck and AZN are and I had to agree with him on that one (LOL) and then I told him yeah but there's a huge difference in being crazy (in a good way) and being downright stupid, and he first wanted to bet me 20 dollars and I told him let's make that 50 dollars, so he agreed on a 50 dollar bet because I just knew in my heart that it wasn't that Paul Walker Chevy 2 wagon and before we shook hands on the bet I asked him if he was sure he wanted to make that bet and he was so sure of himself he stuck out his hand to shake on our 50 dollar bet and we shook on it so I just took a screen shot of your answer and a link to this video so I'd be sure to have my proof that I was right and I just at this very moment got my 50 bucks sent to my cashapp card from my Buddy Tim and he said "I ain't never gonna make another bet with you on cars or guitars" because I've been a car guy for 54 years or more now and have been a guitar player for 57 years now! Thanks again for confirming what I already was 99.9% sure about that NOT being the Paul Walker wagon although if Paul were still with us he probably would have built that bad boy and stuck a motor in it so massive he would have needed a giant shoe horn just to get the motor in it!! I knew a guy that back in the early 70's he had a 2 door Chevy 2 that he had stuck a built 396 in it and that thing was a handful to drive with that 396 in it but after the third time of him blowing up that 396 he then got a 427 out of either a '69 or a '70 Corvette which was far far from being a stock 427 and that car used to scare the shit out of me because it could bring the front wheels off the ground, in fact he did that one time and twisted the chassis on it and cracked the windshield on it!! That thing had won so many races that it had a bit of a reputation here in middle North Carolina!! He used to take it to the quarter mile Kinston Drag strip and the one at Benson, NC too and he would usually mop up when racing that car too. Keep on keepin' on my friends and stay safe while doing what y'all love to do and I'll always be your number ONE fan here in North Carolina!!

I can’t believe racers fall for that getting set out and not leaving until the other car reaches them business. Especially in an 1/8th mile race. You would have to have almost a promod to catch a truck as quick as the Farmtruck in only 660’. 1/4 mile would be a whole different story.
