1. Read a lot about farms/poultry to get as much information as possible 2. Visit a lot of farms, but don't adopt obsolete or harmful practices 3. Learn the business side of farming 4. Plan, plan and plan 5. You need other people 6. Don't give up to hard times when they come. 7. Always be open to learning and innovations.

I have just started watching your videos . I see that you have started growing black Soldier flies to become more self reliant. That is very wise beyond your age! I don't know if you have already answered this question : Have you started growing feed corn on the pieces of land that are not currently being used ? If you have not, then I suggest that you do... Where ever you see an area of weeds, that is where you can plant a patch of corn. Don't just plant corn but also plant bush beens because the beans will greatly assist the corn to grow. I love your videos! You will be a great man and God will use you to do great work!

@@jazzyking9195 I prefer pencil, paper and the scientific method. Learn to fish rather than have someone/something fish for you. There are free apps and sites that will even customize the tools for your specific needs. 'Chetu' is one of them.

FACTS, Love watching Farm Up, we seem very similar where it comes to farming, agriculture and farming business. My brothers will love seeing this, my brother who passed some years back loved the animal side of farming. I'm really interested in permaculture from structural engineering and impact on the farm ecological systems and researching renewable sustainable solutions. It is way more than just money and farming for some, though these can be attained in abundance. Keep the videos coming please. Peace and Blissings

I just read an article in thailand about a farmer feeding his chickens marrijuana instead of antibiotics and other meds and it decreased the death rate of his chickens . All that bird poo is the best fertiliser in the world. If you collect it and have extra land to grow maize/grains to feed the chickens , then the circle is perfect and self sustaining.
