I would encourage dry hay instead of fresh greens to avoid Bloating which is very deadly. Overall l love what you are doing keep it up.

I once bought a pair of rabbits, and they multiplied rapidly-within a year, I had 70 of them. I kept them free-range, building a shed for them to stay in at night while they roamed my large garden during the day. Everyone came to my house to pet the rabbits, and children would always come to play with them. I kept them for pleasure, unable to bring myself to eat any; they were simply too cute and cuddly. I spent quite a bit on green vegetable leaves and discarded veggies from the market to feed them. Unfortunately, I had to move for work, and I ended up selling them all. The only downside was the unpleasant smell of their urine, but overall, I truly enjoyed my time with the rabbits.

Wow. That was beautiful. They do reproduce quick. My areas is large so even urine smell isn't an issue

@@FarmUp Thank you, Dr. Daniel. As an animal lover, you’ve inspired me. I’ve raised chickens, ducks, goats, and rabbits in small quantities and plan to set up a proper farm in the future, not only for the profit, but also because I love it. The peace and satisfaction that come from raising animals is unmatched, and more people should learn to appreciate and embrace this rewarding lifestyle.

Consider dry grass instead leaves. They will also graze just like sheep/goats. Too much leaves gives them digestive issues.

Kale like broccoli can be hard on the stomach if uncooked. They are both super nutritious though. This is the plants self defense mechanism.

We had them in our yard, they give bird almost everyday and became a lot that is why I decided to gift some kids who used to come and watch them. It is not a nice investment even though it is cheap.

@@FarmUpI understand sir, I stay in Congo and there is not market for ranbits here, I was in Zambia (3 years studying Aeronautical Engineering) , in South Africa (2 years for a master ) and there was not market for rabbits no wonder I generalised. Just like you said, you can keep and eat them but it is rare to find buyers.

Free range is good for rabbits, but you will have problem managing them and risk of predators. It is advised to rise them in closed area in raised cages
@noviloba
@noviloba 2 ай бұрын
The area is too big, you should do free range in small plots to manage large populations, so you can separate males and females, and avoid inbreeding. Cages are too small for animals that like to run. Raising rabbits without a net to protect them from birds of prey is not a good idea.

This guy has no idea the problem he has on his hands. Those holes are known as warrens they are continuos tunnels. The neighbouring farms will start to complain. Warren tunnels have been known to go for more than a kilometer in length. These rabbits will become a pest as you are not rabitt farming them correctly. Foolish man.
