FARMVLOG #10 Silage Special 2024! With Massey.

Special silage 2024.
This corn was planted on the 17th and 18th of August after application of glyphosate and 2 applications of nitrogen 150 kg per hectare this cycle ended.
This week was very busy at the beginning of the week, on Monday it rained, on Tuesday I went to the workshop to change a part on the 283 to stop the oil leak.
On Wednesday we started silage, during the morning the mf 283 broke a part that the steering pivot pushes so we were left without the tractor to tamp the silage so our neighbor came to help so the work wouldn't stop.
The next day the mechanics came and fixed it so now everything went well. Friday it was raining but luckily the weather was just a bit closed but we were able to finish until 4 o'clock in the afternoon then we started to put up the tents and then it started to rain. I wasn't able to complete everything so I finished it on Saturday afternoon, even though we soaked it, we managed to complete our food reserve for the winter.
