Love these old Airshow videos.. A throwback to greater times... Went to my first Airshow back in 1986..."Aer spectacular 86" at the Irish Air Corps Base at Casement Aerodrome, Baldonel in Dublin.

I went to Farnborough 86 with my dad, uncle, and my mate, “Snotty”. Towards the end of the day we got separated and the lost children tent had closed. We got shipped off to the VIP tent where we met some American Phantom pilots who gave us some cans of coke with a completely new design of ring pull (now used everywhere). When we were finally reunited my dad couldn’t believe we hadn’t asked them the most basic of questions, like “what’s it like to fly a jet plane?”!

God I love the Tornado. An absolute gentleman of a plane. The aeronautic version of Colin Firth in Kingsman.
