Farsi Nasheed about Omar [ra] - By the people of the Sunnah in Iran. This is is the city of Zahedan. The brother recites a poem in persian about Ameer Al-Mumineen Omar - may Allah be pleased with him. There are loads of poems in persian about the Sahabah, particularly about the Khulafa Al-Rashidoon (Abu Bakr, Omar, Othman & Ali). This is due to the fact that Iran (in his ISLAMIC history) was mostly a great SUNNI country (Abu Hanifah, Ibn Majah, Abu Dawud, Imam Muslim, Al Ghazali, Al Razi and many more among the Salaf were Persian).
A fact uknown to many. It is true, today Iran is MAINLY Shia (not completely for at least 15% of Iranians are still Sunnis) yet only for the last 500years of its ISLAMIC history. Therefore the MOST FAMOUS Iranian poets were SUNNI, like Molana Rumi, Saadi, Ferdousi, OMAR Khayyam etc.
