As someone who, as a hobby, is developing a cosy medieval life sim, yes, the cognitive dissonance is real. Trying to make an as realistic sim without constant death, the disbelief is truly suspended. A pleasure as always. Have a great week :)

Rerolling only changes from a numbered amount of the resource to infinity. I always build a city with infinity clay in it I burnt thru 8k of honey in 2 years game time. I have two massive fruit tree fields. I have 30 people who do nothing but pick fruit. I average 3k of each fruit and vegetables in jars. I use to have about 6k of each. Tier 5 houses will kill your resources quick. I highly suggest having a big surplus. I also have about 12k jars. I am closing into year 1100. I don't think I would ever start from 0 again 😅

Just started this map, after seeing the table top on the hill. A plan formed in my head. Before my hunters cabin was complete, a lone wolf killed 7 of my villagers. I was laughing so hard I cried. I did not restart the map, as I figure if I can make it with 5 villagers, I can do anything.

A 4x speed would be nice, even more when waiting for terraforming I may give this seed a try although I've never been able to finish a run in the plains, those maps are so boring, my favorite map is the wasteland, the seed you shared time ago I've also keep using your tip about grazing although instead of cows, for goats and chickens, and at the start those little crop fields are used for beans, considering how small they are, the harvest they provide is huge

Hey question for you, I have the beta installed and tried using the map seed you provided but mine isn't looking like that at all. I tried restarting the map a few times to see if maybe that changes your spawn location as well. Any idea what I can do to play where you are?
