When this movie came out on VHS, I was working at a CD/movie store at the mall. We had tv's all over the store and would play movies. I put this one in one afternoon, and when this scene came on, the store had about 30 people in it. Everybody was laughing their asses off! My manager didn't like it, but also didn't shut it off. I wasn't allowed to play that movie after that. Some people have absolutely no sense of humor.

No matter how many times I see this clip, I cannot see Eddie Murphy in any of these characters. He is so emersed in make up, individual mannerisms and speech that he has totally disappeared. I consider this some of the greatest acting ever filmed! I believe the low brow humour rather hurt it in regard to critical acclaim but I'm pretty sure that didn't mean squat to Eddie Murphy. IMO, he's still a very underated actor.
