It’s to bad you can’t see the real Toledo and can’t explore outside Toledo. You can stay in Toledo and fall apart with it. If you were smart you would consider maybe moving with your family to a city where there is life.

Yep! It's laughable what the city had originally planned for that site once the mall was razed. What I'm noticing across America is that they're putting Amazon distribution centers on the sites of old dead malls were they once stood. Just like Southwyck Mall. And that's actually kind of funny is that's one of the reasons why malls are closing is due to online shopping.

When I was a kid in Ohio, we went to the mall as an outing unto itself. We were, like many in the state, not well to do and it was mostly window shopping and maybe pick up a trinket or two. But in OH malls were overbuilt and then as areas declined economically, the malls fortunes went with them. I witnessed the decline of Randall Park and Rolling Acres in NE OH and it's sad, but of course suburbanization's wealth shift decimated inner cities and downtown shopping. Capitalism's ebb and flow.

Southwyck was the best at first but they never renovated it I think it outdated and the new Franklin park mall eventually too over

Booper 343 lady’s clothing no, but I remember a lot of the stores that were in there. Do you remember the little store where you could get pretzels? We would always stop there and get a couple. :-). Christmas time it was really decorated nice too.
