Hi Christine!! Leather is a fabulous addition to a necklace!! Love the necklaces that were showcased in the video. Also, I think a messy wrap would look great for the right type of necklace being made. It would take it to a more boho look!! Thanks for sharing your technique with us!! I love to learn different ways to make a fabulous necklace!! ❤️📿🌸

Hi Christine! I have never thought to use a drop of glue when making a joint end on leather. It is a great tip!! Also, you don’t see French wire being used as you did.....I love it!! Normally I use wire guardians instead. I think I’m going to use the French wire when it’s a special piece! Thank you for sharing your techniques and secrets with us! I hope to be a successful jewelry designer like your self one day!! ❤️📿🌼

just found this video as I was looking for an elegant way to show off an acrylic pour pendant I made. love the leather idea and am guessing you can do this with any of the sizes you sell. your beads are gorgeous! I will have a hard time deciding! I hope I can follow this to do my piece justice! if I use 6mm leather would I use an 8mm ring?

Love your tutorials! Could you ask the camera person to do more close up shots if your hands while your putting the project together please? It helps if I can see how you put things together along with the instruction. I’m just getting started with jewelry making 😊

Damy Sanchez great question! In the video, I’m using 22 gauge Non-Tarnish wire. My favorite wires are available on Christinewhitestyle.com 😊📿

How do you connect the multi strand (shown in this video), to the large connector that is attached to the suede? French wire?
@BeadsInc6 жыл бұрын
rhondathrift great question! Yes, it is all attached the same way with French wire. One strand at a time 😊
@rhondathrift6 жыл бұрын
WOW!!! That's a lot of French wire. French wire is not an easy item to find. I know you sell it I guess I just need to put an order together, huh? Thanks.

@@rhondathrift It makes such a difference in finishing your designs! Here is the link to the French wire on my site, I have it in both Silver and gold and everything is 20%off through January with code january18 christinewhitestyle.com/product/gold-color-french-wire/

How much French wire did you use on the necklace?
@BeadsInc6 жыл бұрын
rhondathrift I would say a little more than half of one package. Typically one package goes a long way, but if you are doing multi-strands like this you will use a good bit. 😊

Penny-Ann Brown hi Penny-Ann. Thank you so much for watching and for your feedback. Believe it of not, this video was filmed on the very first day that I, and my crew, had ever filmed a jewelry tutorial in our lives. Sometimes it can be difficult to know what works until we’ve tried it a few times. It’s kind of like jewelry making and creativity- it evolves and we get more comfortable with things the more we do them 😊 Hopefully you’ll find that in some of my more recent videos, we have improved camera angles, timing and more. No need to subscribe if you don’t want to, but I hope to continue to inspire others 📿

Hi Christine ! I'm so glad that you answered back !! Ok I can understand your point ..completely. That thought never crossed my mind as You pulled it off like a champ, like any other KZbin host..you knew your roll and were completely confident. I will check out your other videos as I am now ur subscriber! I tried your channel first as I loved the style of necklaces you are creating , however it also is my very first time creating my own jewelry 🥺 ..i went out and bought $250 worth of stones & materials (NOT INCLUDING any tools) Then I had to learn from a Mexican channel cause his hand were close up & slow but I didnt know a word he was saying . 😩. lol I'm excited to know I'll have the ability to learn ur style. Thank u in advance for the education as well as the reply!👊
