I think its because what they'll wear is predictable for the theme. Traditional fishy drag is already very wide in variety because there's the campy side, the pageant side, everything that makes them look like a woman. Weird queens, however, it's a little expected that she's gonna have an odd take. I mean, Sharon Needles did a terrific job showcasing both, I think that was the lasting impact she had, that expectancy that you can go weird and kooky but still turn out beauty and elegance. When they do show that, it does give them an advantage because, well, no one could compare at that point.

Based on the looks: Top toot: 1. Vanessa Vanjie Mateo - This is just stunning. Everything about it is beautiful and I mean everybody's weakness is Red.. One of the best outfits on dragrace herstory if I may!! Toots: 2. Brooke Lynn Hytes - I personally really love this look like if you ask me 2-5 is AMAZING but I prefer the more clean looks and Brooke's look is just so well done. But I get why she wasn't top because her challenge was weak but we're here for the looks rn. 3. Scarlet Envy - This is stunninggggggg but I'm a bit irritated by the guns I think she should have covered it with fake waves or something but it's still unique and the rest of the look is flawless so top 3 worthy if you ask me. 4. Plastique Tiara - So clean I love her and she could walk in a regular fashion show and you wouldn't even think about her being a man. Although, I think she could have done a BIT more on the bottom half but overall its stunning I hope she makes it far. 5. Yvie Oddly - I LOVE this. It's so unique and when she came up I really felt that 'wow' factor if you know what I'm saying. BUT! When I look closer it's a little rough around the edges and as I have said multiple times now I prefer clean looks but it still is just too good to let it fall out of the top 5. 6. Ariel Versace - This is great. I absolutely love the colour choices. It's not way too much but it's still just such a satisfying aesthetic and everything. The only reason that she is on 6 is that I think the other 5 have that extra something that she missed in this look. Still super cute. 7. Akeria C Davenport - I like this look a lot! I think it's really underrated. The fish are well done and her wig is probably one of the most beautiful wings I have ever seen. With that being said, I do think Brooke did kind of the same thing but better executed and that gives her 7th place imo. Soft toots: 8. Rajah O Hara - Okay don't get me wrong her make up is STUNNING!!! I just really hate that dress. Can't boot it though cause the make up is so well done. 9. Shuga Cain - This is also an amazing look but as Michelle said it doesn't really scream Scorpio. But like, 0. 10. Honey Davenport - The hair is great and the make up is detailed but I feel like the rest is just not nice it doesn't work well together and it distracts me from the face... I love the idea of being a lion tho. Really on the edge but i'll toot it. Boots: 11. Nina West - Okay so I don't hate her but spoilers say (SPOILER ALERT) she makes it farther than people like Scarlet and Plastique and that just doesn't feel right in my opinion. People seem to love her but I think she is super overrated. (Edit: I started to love her along the way, sorry💖) For example this look, it's just ugly. Well that has been said hahah 12. Mercedes Iman Diamond - Not nice and there is like 0 detail in this it's all black and she was clearly struggling on even using the bow and arrow thing. 13. Silky Nutmeg Ganache - She is SO annoying and next to that this outfit for me looks like unicorn puke on a dress so it's a no go for me. So messy.. Hate it. 14. Kahanna Montrese - I'm sorry dear you are super cute and nice but this look.... Damn. What even is this wig, why did your dress fall apart... And I absolutely hate the size of those horns.. It's just not dragrace level. Well not that anyone is ever gonna read this but I enjoyed making this adios amigos and it's an opinion

Everything you have said is correct. Although I don't understand how Silky and Nina make it far.. Dislike their style. Top 4 should be: Brooke Lynn Hytes, Scarlet Envy, Plastique Tiara, and Yvie Oddly. Hate the fact that Kahanna Montrese may be on Season 12. They should not let the same queens back on another season.
