Nikhil Orpe All of you butthurt Adore stans need to get over it. Adore is lazy in her looks. The end. The princess actually styled her wig, accessorized appropriately (not a single choker with combat boots a la Adore in every performance) and wore a capelet. The Princess is miles beyond Adore when it comes to the finishing touches and creating a cohesive look on a weekly basis. Do not compare them just because the aesthetic for this one look was similar.

Adore isn't lazy in her looks, go check out her ICU video. She's a punk rock queen and she challenges the idea of perfect, polished drag. I mean she literally sings punk music with a live band behind her. People have different personal style and persona. I doubt she sings, writes and performs her OWN music and then decides to be like "I'm gonna wear a band tee because I don't give a shit about my career" No, why would she work so hard at her music as a queen only to not give a shit about her drag. How silly would it look for her to be jumping around on stage at a punk rock venue in a damn carousel dress or an evening gown? Would you call Janis Joplin or Brody Dalle or Shirley Manson lazy for their rock/punk style because they don't dress like Lady Gaga (back in the day)? No you wouldn't

frankly it's refreshing to see different drag. Also their are plenty of young gays out there that are alternative/ punk rockers that think they can't do drag because if they wear the things they love and clothes they want to express themselves in they think they'll get hated on. So at least they have Adore to look up to. Plus punk rock is all about breaking the "norm" Punk and rock singers were playing with gender identity since waaaay before drag was as popular as it is now, in a way they were some of the first Drag Queens as we know them today. You know what most of them looked like? ADORE. So not only is she doing something different (todays standards) she's also paying homage to Drag roots.
