Hello my lovely bunch of people and welcome back to another Morissette Amon Reaction video! Today I am bringing you my review of her singing "I wanna know what love is", covering Mariah Carey's cover :D
As someone who had surely studied Mariah Carey, I had no doubt that Morissette would do well. In this Morissette Amon reaction you will hear me commenting on her entire performance of this song and you will clearly see me enjoy it. We can talk about her amazing vocal abilities but what stick out the most is her tone, and that's something no one can learn. Technique is what we learn, tone is what we're born with. You can manipulate it to an extent and change it here and there, but you natural tone is what you're born with and what will be present in singing the most.
This is my 4th Morissette Amon reaction on the channel and I will have to make a playlist for her since I will most likely do more of Morissette Amon reactions :D

I fully agree. We have to acknowledge the fact that if you're not a US, UK or even Canada's citizen that you will have harder time becoming a world wide star. That is sad to me, and I think that in this day and age that should change. There are so many talented people that will never be discovered :/ We can only hope that Morissette once reaches the status of those on the vocal trinity because she deserves it.

I’m typically not a fan of whistle notes. They usually come across as harsh / screechy to me. Morissette's are these beautiful, pure, ringing chimes, full of subtle fluctuations. She really is remarkable. And that’s not even mentioning the 14 second sustain on that particular run.

Mori's singing capability was unbelievable out of this world even vocal coaches was shooked amazed stunned of her singing ability and learned new things from her in singing.. her technique is far beyond the standard of an ordinary singer easy to her to hit long huge high note with no straining so smooth pure and clear... perfection they've always said ..... I may be totally wrong about this, and I probably am, but I think that a lot of her squeaks are natural. I get the feeling, especially in this song, that is isn't actually trying to do her squeaks. They just kinda happen, and thats why you hear so many at that one point. Like I said, I'm probably wrong, but that is just the impression I get. Either way, even though you may think they were overdone at that point, I could listen to her squeaks all day long. So I love that part of the song lol
