Charlie is amazing......he is magnificent actually, very practical, down to earth, interested in many things and for this reason reads up a lot , listens and a very keen learner becoming increasingly knowledgeable himself. He has a great sense of personal individual style not only about his modern classified dress sense but also very good in the home styling details, colours, room proportions layouts antiques, ....the details . A fabulous cook omy gosh. He's husband material so difficult to find. For budget minded viewers in the U.S., Walmart has a sweater that looks surprisingly similar to the one Josie is wearing at the beginning of the video for around $20. The neck is a "v" instead of the turtle style but the cut, color, and fabric details are surprisingly similar and it's very soft & comfy. Nothing better than a classic cream winter sweater (or 'jumper'). I enjoy the inspiration these styling videos provide even though I don't have Josie's body type which makes everything look fantastic nor do I wear heels but still fun none the less.

We are also having bitter cold and on top of that it is snowing and it is covering the ground....Your cheese scones look delicious. Love the fabulous green in Charlie's dressing room. We use a lot of green in our home as well. I agree with Charlie that it is hard to find a amazing green rug but we did find one. We also found that when we moved to the country our clothes changed. Dear Josie and Charlie, Thank you for the many beautiful videos you guys are making ❤. In return I wanted to send you some of my designer tips to show my appreciation, I hope the following will bless you: First to Charlie: Charlie you did very well designing that room. It shows that you have life experience. Experience, having had trial and error, is what makes a good designer a great one. The room is not generic, nor it is pure copycat. Instead you had smartly picked what you absolutely love out of all the options you had, and juxtaposed them seamlessly together. This is what makes a great design! It feels liveable, warm and enjoyable. If I may add something - although you can decide if this works for you. You know the corner where you are planning to hang the large artwork, right next to the window seat, consider placing a small side table for a cup of tea/ drink, phone or candle/ lamp, etc.. this will add to the functionality of that window seat as well. If you love this idea then try picking a piece which is not bulky, almost see through, like an antique gold tone iron work table with a marble top or black glass insert or something which really pops but not intrusive. Try to stay away from a wood table, because the room has a nice balance already with the glass fragrance bottles, fabric seating, wood flooring and rug. It probably doesn’t need more wood surface there. Something more reflective will make that dark corner lighter. If you keep the table light in weight then you can move it around easily in case you need to shuffle a suitcase or a washing basket through. Or you might go completely the opposite way, then a square trunk box with leather traps might give it a masculine vibe. The leather or leather look will add that extra texture to the room which is already displayed in your shoe collection. And for Josie’s walk-in robe: it sees you prefer no pattern in your dressing area. Both options had advantages and disadvantages. I will only highlight that is worth considering, think through how dirty the white will look over time and will the pink go with your clothes. You can spay the white toned rug with stain proofing but test that first because it can ruin a rug if the chemical doesn’t work. The right flooring covering can make you feel that your outfit is working. Choose the rug which elevates your outfits. Just think of a red carpet events, the carpet is the one which makes your dress elevated. The same if you go to an elegant hotel, if the hotel floor is beautiful then the guests walk with grace and they feel better. So flooring does matter, it’s worth playing around and testing a few options. Have you tried the rug you put in your bedroom for your dressing room? You might be surprised how good it would look. And my last tip: If the pile of the rug is too high then you may struggle with opening your door. The rug thickens may end up being the deciding factor, if you are not happy with that then start again. Playing around, having fun with design is part of the process. All the best ❣️

Hi Josie, Charlie's gentlemens dressing room is thoughtfully laid out and organized as to how he chooses his items. Grouping clothing items by category, such as gilets, can be done even if a person doesn't have the space. In grouping items one can easily find what they are looking for, not fumbling through a mix of shirts, jackets etc.

We have a mix of rain and snow ,cold and cloudy. Yes I bought cashmere long underwear and socks which I wore to an American football game on Sunday, sitting in snow and wind. I was warm.
