Back when models stomped the runway. Fierce walks. Natural split down the middle straight hair, smokey eyes, fabulous accessories and good music on the runway. Good fashion era the early 2000s. They own that runway.

Worth rewatching multiple times, unlike current fashion shows which r not that attractive and obsolete. Very lovely top models and glamorous outfits in this Versace show.

To me this was the golden era of models. I loved the supermodels but they were too distracting from the clothes and majority of them had shiiit walks. Shows were more pageanty. These models were all stunning but all had amazing walks and could sell the shit out of the clothes. The girls these days are just walking coat hangers that look like stunned mullets.

Compare their pictures and show to people , 90 per cent people will pick Isabeli out of two. I don't blame you, you are someone who think Sasha is the best Russian model.

@yes yes and Eugenia's walk is basically knee lifting. Isabeli walk is great her arm movements are good, her hips sway perfectly, her leg movements are extremealy good. I don't see how she is overrated. And Eugenia is not versatile at all she has that ghotic look that does not fit in every show and her walk also does not fit in all kind of shows. She also does not have better poses.

This was Donatella’s minimalist era which has has said in recent interviews she hated. The company was making losses in this era and was forced to go follow the minimalist mood to revive sales. I doubt she’ll ever go back to this pared down glamour.

I come back to this because 1) the clothes look great, lots of coat boot and dress envy, 2) the soundtrack for most of it, love the use of Robot Rock by Daft Punk and Believe by The Chemical Brothers in particular, and 3) the models. Daria ➡️ Carmen ➡️ Eugenia ➡️ Caroline T ➡️ Isabeli ➡️ Hana ➡️ Natasha stands as an actually iconic line-up to this day, not to mention other icons Gemma, Raquel, Julia, Karen, Anja, Doutzen, Inguna, Elise, Lily D., and Jessica Stam. That’s 17 girls at least who STILL get bookings and have industry activity 20 years later!
