I’m sure someone has already said this but if you applaud when someone catches a fish, you will both get the buff. You don’t need to catch fish next to each other. Just applaud. It’s a pretty cute feature.

I do things similarly to you, except I don't cook until after I fish. I only catch in nodes and I take my starred fish home and cook them all to get the cooking weeklies, then I sell the cooked fish.

Super helpful, thanks. The only one I never get is ‘cooking together’ as I’m mostly solo - just have to get the courage to join a cake party or something… I had heard about the muujin on that plateau but tried it 20 or so times in a row (hopping servers) and got nothing so thought it was a myth or had been nerfed. This vid is quite old so if anyone still does it I’d love to know.
