Correction During my review I discuss how I wish there was a reset button if you get stuck on the track. A few of my viewers thankfully alerted me that there is one and I was incorrect in saying it didn’t have one. On the PS4 it is done by holding the touch pad. I completely missed this. Ignore that point in my review, since the game has that feature. Thank you!

You reviewed a game that has been in early access for years and missed one of the key aspects of the game meaning the entire time you played this game you everything you said in this video was done with a huge misunderstanding of the game because you ABSOLUTELY NEED the respawn ability in this game. The fact that you messed up this badly means you shouldn't have even posted this IMO. I've had this game for a while, so from my perspective this review is a joke. You should just start over, delete this video and post a new one. Show some footage from the original game Rollcage and talk about the devs a bit, mention whats been added since early access and review the game without missing one of the main aspects of gameplay.

I would if I had a background with Rollcage. I played the provided PS4 build, not the Early Access version on pc. It sounds like you have personal tastes for this game and the coverage of it. I would recommend you create your own review and share that passion.

@@joethealternativegamer3935 No, I just played rollcage on PS1 and when I heard of this game I decided to try it. It's not amazing but it's pretty cool. You're review just has a major errorr and instead of redoing it, you lazily uploaded it anyway.

I was surprised that full 4-player splitscreen support is featured. Should be a blast. Switch version has 2-player max. Still cool.

even though i love GRIP, i cant defend the Switch version, the Switch is struggling to keep it at 30fps, and when there's enough action happening, the FPS drop is definitely noticeable from what i can see, that version has ambient occlusion turned off, and no anti aliasing to speak of, which means the game looks very pixelated, and shadow detail is kept to a bare minimum 1. PC 2. PS4 3. Switch

I see. Since Trailblazers has arrived on the Switch with 4-player splitscreen, what I'm thinking is to get that for the Switch, which is the console that I have. Meanwhile, GRIP for my Teammate's XBox.

Don't know which version you we're running but i think the framefate is adequate/good about over 90% of the time expect in certain DM maps. Still could be better and the graphics do look pretty rough. I still like the game a lot and rate it 9/10. This might go up to 10 if Switch Pro comes and the perfomance/graphics are then updated to about match the other versions + 4 player split screen. Switch version is the worst. It comes down to much one appreciates portable play and Switch version is generally cheaper.

One things u guys need to reminder this a remake of the original PS 1 games roll cage looks like it’s an exact copy you could never damage cars By ramming them the weapons are spot on but I do agree a reset button would be good if you fall off the track

Right now in january 2021, this is on sale for 10 euros on ps store for ps plus users. After watching this review I decide to bought it. Love for arcade racers like Wipeout, Burnout, even Flatout and Redout, indie Hotshot racing and hard-core Trackmania. Greetings from Slovenia.

Hello Joe. Nice review. I am interested in this game, but just from watching your review, I am kind of worried I might get motion sick from playing this game with so many sudden camera movements. Do you think this might be an issue or isn't this as prevalent as what has been shown in the review? Thanks.

Thank you for the kind words. Your question is going to be hard for me to assess how it will affect you since I do not get motion sickness from these games. There are some snappy moments on certain tracks. I would suggest you look at other gameplay videos on KZbin and see if it is ok. If you Xbox game pass it will be on there next week. Dude I love this game it was so it is a lot of fun with friends including driving and single players but also the campaign is severely hard like it increases itself to from like easy to hard mode instantly but it's satisfying when you get it done basically when you get to the top known as tier 11 and the cars are fun to customize with even so you can show off your style with friends and with other players around the globe and I find this game really interesting and really fun on Xbox including all consoles

Anything to report regarding crashes, framerate and bugs, other than the one you mentioned? And does the game feature a photo mode during races?

I did not experience any crashes while playing and the frame rate was stable while in the races! This was played on the ps4. I did not see use of a photo mode, though that would be a fun addition

Redout is blisteringly fast! Possibly the fastest racer ever made. There's a ton of racing modes. I got quite far into it but kept getting stung by the unfair ai, so gave up. Although it was quite late in the game. Really enjoyed it up till then.

before i start watching, i read fun.. you should do a review on the price people pay 40 euro's. also don't review on your taste, like if you are a hardcore racing fan and thinks this game is easy. a review is about all the people that play it not just you

@@ninjascroll1017 just depends.. beating you in mortal kombat is probably easy to. racing games i buy for the multiplayer not to play against cpu. how many games do you play in 1 week, only grip for 1 week is just boring (most games are)
