What is the problem being addressed?
It has been noted that our country is having a lot of problems, due to shortage of power supply.
Therefore, Fast and Quick Company has come up with a Bio-digester, our initiative to solve this
problem using a cheaper method.
Organic waste which is decomposed is used to produce energy that can be used for different
purposes such as; cooking, heating and even electrical energy, where ten households use one
bio-digester to produce the energy required for the above purposes.
The business will be highly profitable as the method is cheaper compared to other methods as the
raw materials required are easily available especially in rural area where this energy is rare, and
difficult to access, besides, the energy produce is used for different purposes such as cooking,
heating, lighting and electricity.
The business will also break the monotony of production of electricity as Ken-Gen and Kenya
power are the only companies in Kenya known for the production and distribution of electricity.
The company will also benefit the government as it will earn revenue from the company through
taxes.
The main target group are people from rural areas as they donâ€TMt easily access electrical
energy mainly due their geographical location but through our company, where we will be using
organic waste from their farms and cattle to produce the energy for them at a fee,
thus benefiting both sides.
This method is also suitable and efficient as it is environmental friendly and does not pollute the
environment thus can be used anywhere.
