Fast Castle UK - John Napier

Fast Castle is a location thought to be a place where treasure is hidden, and mathematician John Napier entered a contract in 1594 to use his "sorcerous" skills to search for that treasure. As part of my study of John Napier's life I took two trips to Fast Castle: one in 2021 on land and one in 2022 by sea. Of all my math history travels this is at or near the top in terms of favorite experiences.
