Its popularity led to the creation of many different variants of the fighter, each of them pushing the jet even closer to perfection. Today we’re going to talk about the best of those Sabers available in War Thunder.

Pity it had two 30mm cannons and a powerful Rolls Royce Avon Turbojet 7,500lbf thrust, Good speed of 700 mph and was considered one of the best versions of the Sabre.

Everything around it is indeed faster and dangerous, the Sabres themselves are not when they get blasted by all aspect missiles or even just rear as they lack flares, or get strafed by super sonic jets.

​@@emilioortega8096 because IRL, the Sabre was retired in the US by the time the AIM-9B was invented. But countries using old American kit, like, Germany or Japan, adapted their Sabres to fire it. The US Marines did the same with the FJ-4B, which was inspired by the Sabre, which is why that plane is the closest the US gets to a Sabre with a Sidewinder.

the sabre dog has the turning circle of an SR-71 i swear to god. leading slats are only there to make sure that rookies can turn during a training flight before hitting the hundred mile mark

Make Enduring confrontation: better with bigger maps for high tier, more cool features like Ai awacs, cargo planes, cargo ships etc. to influence the match by killing those. And make a Air rb version as well. Please. I would like to have a sort of “coalition feature” as well. Something like Axis allies nato Warsaw pact etc. You could put for example East German and Soviet equipment, that are on a list fitting to Warsaw pact theme, into one Deck for Enduring confrontation. Same goes with nato.

Most enjoyable dogfights i had in the game. Mig 15 vs f86 the pinnacle of fun in air battles. I hope they will decompress the br more so we can enjoy such battles again.

Guys i have a problem when i try and play the f15 i wont put me in a mach and will tell me that the selected game mode (air realistic battels) its unavaible. DO you have any idea of how to fix this? with any other plane its ok only the f15 has this problem.

GAIJIN: I propose that all utility helicopters have the ability to land troops on the ground and have them capture points and be equipped with rifles and a couple of AT weapons. It would give those helis a dynamic purpose. Pls respond and tell me what you think.
