My favorite Christmas tradition has been with me since I was little and has continued through two more generations. My three brothers and I had to wait on Christmas morning until our parents were awake, the tree was lit and they had their coffee before we could come downstairs. The four of us would sit on the stairs in anticipation and it took FOREVER! I raised my daughter in the same house and carried the tradition forward. Now my grandson is being raised in this house and he will be participating starting this year (he's three). I think the anticipation and the teasing are as much fun as the actual gift opening. My other favorite tradition was attending candlelight service on Christmas Eve. I'm no longer able to do that, but I'm thankful for the memories. Blessings!!!! 💜💜
