So i did it like one hour ago and i Can help you : first you need to know that there IS one portal that you need to defend that spawns a mangler and the other one that spawns abomination - secondly, they way to do it IS to keep a lot of zombie, kill the regular bosses and like understand that the activation of the "fire spread" augment has a cooldown and you need like to count 15 to 20 seconds until you Can like shoot a zombie again Thirdly, when your close to the mangler, thats when hé will run trying to melee you, thats IS the best moment when you Can try to get the fire to spread You Can start this AT round 15, and you need Time to get used to it but as me, i got used to it AT round 19 and it missed on few rounds. When you get used to it its really easy, as its shown in the video

Pro tip. Use fire bombe and decoys. If the mangler shot trow a decoy next to him and kill some zombies cuz u use fire bomb it spread out easy to him. With this combe 1h done. PS to kill him use Gs45 and select directed mode 😊

So I just tried to kill elites while they are ignited and nothing happens when they die just “elite zombie elimination” not “napalm elite elimination” I’m not understanding

Just a update for anyone trying this it still works I’ve just completed it in director mode it is very tricky to get the burn to ignite the HVT mangler but when u get him lit just kill and you’ll be sweet …. I didn’t save and quit so I’m not sure If that’ll bug it out but all in 1 sitting and took just 30min

You don’t need the augment where it spreads, just use big game and ignite a zombie really close to the mangler and it works fine. Just did it an hour ago

I finally did sticks and stones. Way I did it was, I didn't upgrade or pack a punch my knife. I used the knife all the way up to buy the melee perk and no others. Then I just used fists all the way to 25, axes for abominations. manglers are easy to deal with if you get them early, I also pick up every drop. I'm not sure if this is the intended way, but it worked for me.

I didn’t use this method I did it fully legit got to round 100 and killed anywhere from 15-20 abominations all of them counted as “napalm burst elite elimination” and still didn’t get it. Idk what else to do

Just died on round 31 after a few hours in the match. I was probably close to 10 but it’s so much action because of the zombie horde and like 4 manglers shooting their cannon every second while you can’t just kill everyone as usual. I used the LTG method at first but I feel like the normal manglers were easier. Do you know the cooldown timer for the mods and if your first shot after the cooldown will be a guaranteed mod trigger? If I’d know this then I could easily make them low damage and just trigger the mod and kill them instead of your method of shooting the zombies with low rarity weapon. The manglers weren’t always with the horde which made your method difficult/annoying as fuck. 😫

Normal manglers won't count for this, because the are special zombies not elite. Get rid of normal manglers during a round and only focus on getting HVT's health down. The Napalm Burst cooldown is actully really quick. I'd wait at least 30 seconds before shooting again tho. The pain is to get zombies to ignite very close next to him.

@ Oh, damn! And you also can’t ignite the elite on its own? So you have to do the challenge via the normal zombies? Because the augment says you can also burn elites if I remember correctly. I’ll try again tonight. Maybe I have to think about some helpful gums like Idle Eyes or early wonderweapon, etc. If you have additional tips or ideas that aren’t in the video, let me know please.

So when you kill the HVT elite you basically "fail" the step so the scientist guy will say you can try again, all you gotta do is kill the HVT without activating the trap then after finishing off the rest of the zombies, finishing the round, go back to the cylinder thingy you first used to call the HVT in and interact with it. It'll call the boss again and rinse and repeat until you hit 10

You'll see the cynlindar thing will be messed up after you call/fail, it'll go back to normal after finishing the round you called the HVT at
