This just brought back a flood of memories. Sound Factory around 3AM, Junior would turn this on and we'd go up. I'd stumble out of there plenty of Sunday mornings exhausted from being slain by the music!

This track blaring at SOUND FACTORY on THAT system where you could literally feel every bass beat in your feet and bones...WAS EPIC!!! No wonder I had 6% body fat dancing my ass off to this! 😂💯 PURE HOUSE HEAVEN! 💓😄 Thanks Junior Vasquez for spinning musical paradise! 👍

Crossed over to become an epic track in all parts of the house/club world: black, white, Hispanic, Latino, Asian, you name it; gay, straight, FQ's, lesbians, everyone else; "hip-house music," but was also a vogue battle track up and down the East Coast (how the Hell did that even HAPPEN--so DOPE!); the club kids walked runway to the track at the Sound Factory; and I used to hear this version of the track on the straight, black radio stations in D.C. (WKYS and WPGC) on Friday nights. And obv. the track enjoys truly legendary status in Chicago, and it always will. Any DJ worth SHIT back in the day owned at least 3 copies of the track, and more likely owned 5 of 6 releases of the disc. The track just checks ALL those boxes and more. So GOOD! XO & HMANL!

I was sixteen years old and my female cousin somehow got me into the club called the WORLD in lower Manhattan and this was the first club I had ever been to. It was crowded people were everywhere. AS WE WALKED INTO THE CLUB This song came on and it ELECTRIFIED THE WHOLE PLACE!! Everyone immediately reacted and started dancing in a tribalistic beautiful way This was my first time my ears heard HOUSE MUSIC AND i FELL IN LOVE WITH THE HOUSE MUSIC IMMEDIATELY AFTER. SOME SONGS LIVE WITH WITH YOU FOREVER!

@@anthonybrunson6321 Yeah I do! I’m not sure if it was the weight of so many people dancing at once or the floors were weak but they definitely were vibrating! Good times !

This track would bring the house down as soon as it came on. The kids would flock to the dancefloor and there would be so much foot stompin the floor would shake and after it was over you might've lost 5lbs. Sound Factory, Trax, Better Days, Palladium, Tunnel, Nickel Bar, Save The Robots and more.

As commenter "Legendary Amtrak" noted, this cut is one of the most important house cuts of all time!!! Released about a year and a half after the Paradise Garage closed it brought together different factions of enjoyers of house music, with a cut we all could love. The Junior Vasquezes, Jelly Bean Benitezes, and Shep Pettibones notwithstanding, there were no real venues in NYC that were playing the earthier, gritty, and funkier house music that Larry Levan played and that the likes of Timmy Reg
