Crossed over to become an epic track in all parts of the house/club world: black, white, Hispanic, Latino, Asian, you name it; gay, straight, FQ's, lesbians, everyone else; "hip-house music," but was also a vogue battle track up and down the East Coast (how the Hell did that even HAPPEN--so DOPE!); the club kids walked runway to the track at the Sound Factory; and I used to hear this version of the track on the straight, black radio stations in D.C. (WKYS and WPGC) on Friday nights. And obv. the track enjoys truly legendary status in Chicago, and it always will.
