Stick a cop in an unseen place and they'll catch one driver every 5 minutes, and assuming the traffic is always bad for the ~15 hours/day that it's open, amounts to $30,000.00/day, or $10.,950,000/year in fines for one location. Worst case, no one learns and the city makes a ton of spare change, best case, people learn and the officer can go do something else.

There was nothing done to plan for the line of cars that was anticipated prior to this restaurant being built. A part of McDonald's line for their drive thru is on their property, where as Chick-fil-A has their order taking location at the edge of their driveway.

Perhaps Chick-fil-A needs to improve their business model, as they aren't serving their customers quick/fast enough. McDonald's used to have a contest years ago where if customers didn't get their orders quick/fast enough, they would get something free. The line is backing up because they aren't turning over the orders at an expedited rate...time to 'pick-it-up'! After all, nobody likes slow service...it's called FAST FOOD!

Total BS! Well, demolition... rebuild and get it done right! The thing is... if you do not fit in the drive through you cannot block the HWY. You need to move. There is no parking on the HWY.! Drive around like a normal person, until you can fit in the drive through! No consideration for anyone else on the roads... that's no Aloha. Or park somewhere and walk yourself there! What also causes traffic problems are people going to that Chinese restaurant (Dew Drop Inn) on the corner of Pensacola & Beretania & illegally parking on the street, blocking the flow of people trying to get to the condo or Chick-Fil-A on the right hand lane. People who slam on the brakes and don't pay attention to traffic several cars ahead of themselves is the #2 reason for traffic; slamming on the brakes causes a domino effect that results in traffic in the back slowing down to a crawl, made worse when everyone stares only at the bumper in front of them and/or are constantly dodging through traffic lanes. People who don't know not to block intersections and driveways during heavy traffic is also a major problem in addition to selfish derps who take advantage of the extra space to cut in line. Law Enforcement seriously needs to expand their Traffic Safety division and position officers in dangerous areas; Americans don't seem to make the connection that they're wielding deadly weapons in their luxury 1.5 ton metallic battering rams. ~50+ pedestrians die on O'ahu every year, and the statistic is apparently increasing. Never mind about gun laws, we need to worry about selfish idiots behind the wheel.
