Man I'm still pretty mad that NBC had to cut away yesterday's race coverage for "local" news on the EASTERN time zone because they're wasn't any local news for Western viewers and for people in the Mountain time zone. It was just paid programming. To be honest they probably should've cut away Eastern Time zone viewers and make a stream available for them on nbcsports.com and the app.

NBC sucks anyway. Most of the race is commercials. I rather watch Sky Sports, then have NBC commentary while NBC is showing the race and only do their own commenary when NBC is on commercial.

I have to watch the same commercials if I see it on a stream or if I am able to watch it with a rabbit ear antenna, so why the darn requirement for a paid television subscription if you show it on a over the air broadcast chanel? Stream without charging.

Detroit Grand Prix Race 1 in 90 seconds..🤪...a 75 minute race in a 30 minute Review....the laws of physics is Pure.....Mind Boggling...let alone Michigan. Nice to see Joseph Newgarden win Race 1 by the way. ( Now if only we don't bend the laws of physics for the review of Race 2 from the Motor City. Wile E. Coyote would've love this.... just saying 🤭! )

As always, a great show from the best open wheel series on the planet. I do, however, have a complaint concerning the push to pass. I like the push to pass. It makes sense in the current era of frozen engine development. It makes good racing. It provides an element of intrigue to the unfolding of race strategy. My complaint is that it should be a tool for the driver to use instinctively. Sure the light tells onlookers that the driver is "on the button" but the race engineers should not feed information about other drivers p2p usage other than maybe time remaining. I find it to be a let down that Tim Cendric relayed p2p info to Josef at the end. Imagine how exciting the race would be if the drivers were acting and reacting to one another purely because they are racing. Consider this: information about fuel mixture, weight jacker, and sway bars are not relayed unless picked up on the radio. Push to pass info should not be a pit to car coaching subject. My most humble opinion.
