I believe Black Winter Thor is from when he becomes "Thor, Herald of Galactus" . When fighting the Black Winter, BW shows him himself as Thor(In this BW Form) and explains the reason it is here. I might be wrong since its been a while, but its a great story and it's worth reading if you havent already.

Cable did have a spear in the comics later on when he had this look. As I recall, this look started with Ian Churchill and Jeph Loeb's run, continued into Ladronn's run (with the spear), and lasted somewhere into the Deadpool/Cable team-up comic.

Same here but this is how marvel forces you to purchase their figures and merchandise. I believe it is cool that Cable is in his marvel vs capcom 2 costume. However, out of the BAF set; I am only interested in Kazar! I dont care about the rest of the figures and they really do not interest me! I am a bit disappointed with the BAF characters. However, them blue wolverine and spiderman fantastic 4 2 packs look amazing and the baron zemo and Zola. Gotta pickem up!

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that's the correct pronunciation. That's how they said it in the cartoon and I vaguely remember comics occasionally telling you how things are supposed to be pronounced.

Ive been wishing for a Revoltech Cable reissue for my MvC collection, but this Cable will do great, though I wish he came with a BFG appropriate for hyper viper beam. I had always imagined a retooled Deathlok body for Cable so I'll be very curious to see what hes like in hand. Finally an animated Morbius, and Strange is a nice treat. Zemo and Zola, Carnage, Shield 3 Pack. Theres more legends in this reveal that I want than legends Ive gotten in recent memory.

They do new sculpting for the oddest figures. Vision is a main Avenger character, but he gets pained on details while Ikarus gets unique boots and accessories... oh, mein Gott Wolfsbane, we're completing the team, but in those yellows look off and in different poses the figure is giving a "mess of pottage" but I'm still grateful.

First time in a while going be pre-ordering quite a few Legends. Retro carded Prowler and Carnage, Zemo and Zola 2pk, Shield 3pk, and then Ka-Zar, Wolfsbane, and Ikaris for sure. Maybe Cable but not sure then the remaining Zabu pieces I'll get on Ebay. As long as I get them for 25 or less I'll be happy with that.

Scar was my immediate thought for the tease. That handle is thick and they like using that hulk body. I was happily surprised for everyone that got a chance to grab the Juggernaut and Colossus Re-release. Great set.

Zola was originally from the 2012-2013 marvel legends build a figure with I believe wrecking crew, can't remember the characters. Also the Terrax and rocket racoon BAF were apart of that series!

Great stuff Robo! You're not wrong about Cable with the Spear (or Psimater). I'm still rocking the Toybiz Cable, since I wasn't collecting ML when the more recent ones released, but it's preeeeeeetty long in the tooth these days, and I don't want to pay 2nd hand prices for one of those. This new one will do nicely. It'll be weird having a cable that doesn't have both arms bare though, so I may try to swap out that right arm. Ka-Zar is looking great. I can square him up against Masterverse Savage He-man (Oolar) in a 'blonde guys in loincloths with spears' fight. But an articulated 1/12th scale sabretooth tiger is enough to get me to get the figures with all the parts for Zabu. Hasbro's articulated animals have been really good lately. I can always gift the figures I don't want to my kids, or nieces and nephews. Or keep them for fodder.

The original Zola BAF was in 2012... The assortment being a mix of Avengers, Eternals, and X-Men is kinda throwing me for a loop. Don't think we've had that since the time of that Zola BAF. Some of the pics of Cable have me worried the paint on the upper thighs wont match. Only time well tell I suppose

As someone who's been picky with the Marvel Legends line for a while a lot of these are easy passes for me, but some are tempting. The new Prowler looks great, the cape looks much better and I don't mind the lighter colour scheme, but I think the Captain America villain set was my favourite reveal. I really like Arnim Zola and wasn't collecting the line when that first version released, and Helmut Zemo is one of my favourite Marvel villains, and that Walgreens figure from a few years ago is still one of my favourites in the whole line, so his dad is a welcomed addition. Also the end tease for the stream having some people speculate Kraven reminded me of how badly I'd love to see a wave or two based on the Insomniac Spider-Man games, those villain designs are so good.

Hydroman's Large water fists from the Molten Man BAF wave will take serious modding to fit the Animated 2 pack version. The arm slots don't match. That's why it was also super annoying if you wanted to try to give the Molten man version regular arms.

That Fantastic Four Spidey and Wolvy set is from a fun little story. The Fantastic kids get sent back to Earth to get them out of harm's way while the team stays in space to protect Earth from an invasion. The kids are defending a Skrull and a Kree child pair of refugees and call on the FF reservists for help so Logan and Peter show up. Reed has left matching suits for them and then there are two different FFs are operating during the Empyre crossover.

Fun stream. It definitely reminded me of classic Marvel Legends build a figure waves. Just all over the place and rationalizing on getting figures I didn’t care about because I need the BAF. For those new to this approach, as John McClain said welcome to the party pal. Shartimus kind of ruined Ka-Zar for me. I’m coming to have to put straps on those sleeve intentional on the forearms. Maybe Marvel Legends crew will do an animal two pack in the future in the tune of Crystal and Lockjaw. Bring it to the hirer ups Marvel Marketing Men! Red Widow looks sweet. With Marvel Select my Super Soldiers Winter Guard are rounding out nicely. Just need the Vision and Thor copies of the Avengers team. I’m a sucker for Spider-Man and I’m enjoying the VHS packs. I love the retro cards so they got me for Prowler and maybe Carnage. I have so many of him. Building my red Symbiote army. The SHIELD 3 pack is just fun. Nick Fury Jr. is the Ultimate Fury’s son I think. They shared surprises in that pack. Could they sneak in extra heads and not just hands and guns. Original Valentina Contessa de Fontaine maybe or GW Bridge? Maybe an artifact like Zodiac Key or Serpents Crown. Looking forward to that set! I definitely think that’s Skarr’s dagger. Two pack with Samson? So many fun things. Wait did they pay off the fire accessory tease? Hey Mighty Marvel Marketing Men! What’s with giving us a tease without paying off previous one? Ka-zar a near naked man in cloth & boots is ok to release to retail but a original goblin queen who I would argue is more clothed than ka-zar is not ok to relesse to retail🙄. This is a weird wave because it's a mix of different teams instead of it being themed. Which i never liked because if the build a figure is something I like that means I would have to buy a wave of figures I don't like to get it. Like how i had to buy the kingpin or red onslaught wave just so I could get a onslaught or shadow King. It seems like were not to far away from a marvel legends feral. Hopefully with a reissue of the x-force 3 park that I don't want to spend 180+ dollars for.

Actually I am kind of digging these new release figures and love them. Especially the Dr. Strange ( love the colors). The fantastic 4 spiderman and wolverine ( blue looks sweet). I personally would love to see spiderman and wolverine in both yellow color and plain purple color. Then the Kazar figure! Yes! I personally don’t care for the daredevil and hydro man. I like the daredevil from the 3 pack figure set with bullseye, elektra and daredevil. ( That pack is good enough for me)
