Paul Walker’s passing was like my equivalent to JFK or 9/11. I remember exactly what I was doing that Saturday night. I was just about to turn off the TV after watching another film, when the news came out that there was a death from the Fast & Furious franchise. Never in a million years did I think it would’ve been Paul. I was shocked, and just outright flabbergasted in disbelief.

Damn, this almost everytime makes me almost shred a tear out of emotion. He was one of the few people in my life I looked up to, and I was asked once "if you could see yourself in any celebrity, who would it be", and my answer was always the same. I thinks it’s moments like this which build character. So many of us feel the same emotion watching this that the next generation won’t be able to feel the way we did. I imagine showing my daughter this series and when we get to fast 7 I’ll explain what happened but I’m sure she won’t “get it” the way we “got it” if that makes sense.
