Turbo cars gain more horsepower from Downpipes and HFC than catbacks. I know some people get stuck on noise, but added diameter after the turbo and a 200 Cell HFC will yield the most gains (and tuners normally require it) I ran FI exhaust on my Audi S4 with JHM headers. Loved your exhaust system! You guys make a great product.

Andrew S The 02 altima was the exact motor used in the 03 350z but smaller intake and restricted exhaust. If you swapped them out you'd typically see 20hp/tq out of it on the top end You loose a little at the bottom though.

This video was taken with our non-resonated version. We strongly recommend for the TT 3.0L engine this is the way to go! Even with the addition of our lower down pipes, the sound produced is quite refined, smooth and manageable on long drives inside the cabin.

Nithin V Sound is subjective and everyone will perceive it differently, but I’d say the answer to your question is NO. I’m confident that with our 14” touring muffler in this system, along with the non-resonated x pipe, you’ll be fine with your neighbors. The version featured in this video is non-resonated. This video is 3 years old and we now have a 10" "sport" muffler option that's a tad bit louder, yet still smooth and refined. Is this a Res or Non Res X Pipe? How much louder is the non res compared to the res?

This is the NON-Res X Pipe. The turbos act as primary mufflers so this system is pretty subtle until our full down pipes are brought in to the equation to open up that exhaust flow. The combination of our full down pipes and non res CBE are at the perfect sound level both inside and outside the car... The resonated option within our x pipe will affect mainly the interior cabin noise. If you wanted to improve the performance but keep the interior sound as quiet as possible, this would be the combo to choose. Otherwise stick with our non res option.

Thanks for the video. I just bought a 2019 RS AWD. Are there any warranty issues when installing a catback exhaust? Can this cause the CEL to come on?

The great thing about our exhaust system is that it's a direct fit replacement part; meaning there is not cutting or welding required. Most dealerships won't mind a cat-back exhaust and a check engine light will not occur. Please let us know if you have any additional questions.

The resonated option really comes in to play on the VQ 3.7L 2014-2015 engine. On the 2016+ VR30 model, the resonators really aren't needed. The interior cabin noise (drone) is very, very minimal.

2 years late but that's cuz of the engine noise enhancement our cars play through the speakers to make it sound more aggressive. You can turn that off for natural sound in a hidden menu

Idk I think it sounds a little weak maybe a little louder than stock and I know you said you wanted it to be tame and it’s a luxury car but it’s also a sports sedan and if you’re going to put that money into your car and have that much power I’d personally want a deeper note and it too be louder more like an axle back on a GTR or at least sound like a G35/37 and 350/370z with an exhaust. Just my 2 cents I wouldn’t want straight piped window shattering sound but more than that...

If by "weak" you mean quiet, than that's ok...keep in mind it's a good thing to have a CBE that is on the quieter side, vs. too loud. With the addition of our lower DPs or full DPs the exhaust note drastically wakes up. Fast forward to now and we offer a 10" sport muffler version which yields a louder and deeper exhaust note. The boost was not manipulated by us. The is no software out for this car as of yet. Just by the change of the exhaust, it saw a slightly higher value in the mid range for a few hundred RPM's.

Correct. It shoots for a target boost and self adjusts. The boost changes were so minute from run to run. We just showed it as reference in the video to answer any potential questions if it wasn't shown. We are all about transparency! We are pretty excited about the Q60 as well.

Well, we can’t please everyone. That said, when we design and produce our exhaust systems, we target a broad audience that will enjoy a clean, smooth sound while trying to retain the integrity of the stock exhaust note. Our goal is to enhance it, not redefine it. It’s always easier to make an exhaust system louder. It’s not so easy to start with an overly loud/obnoxious exhaust system and effectively bring it down in volume to an enjoyable state.
