@@TLBNation As I say, it's not ULEZ that is killing these, they are already ULEZ compliant. They are 13 years old, too old for another tender round. Most buses leave London at around 13-16 years

@@TLBNation Wouldn't know to be honest. Assume electrics - not sure they have enough existing hybrids on ending contracts to cover a route such as 57 with its high PVR

What makes an Enviro 400 a Trident? I know that Abellio's E400 Tridents are distinguishable by the ovaly upper deck rear window shape. What about the GAL ones?

GAL is varied, on older tridents you can tell by the older dashboard (such as E61 and E96) but all ‘09 plates have the newer E40D dash. One of the only few differences ‘09 plates have in difference to ‘60 plates, is that the ‘60s have a fan grille at the back right of the bus, whereas the ‘09s dont

A E400 trident is euro 4 shown in this video while the newer ones (E40Ds) are either euro 5 or 6. These have Kickdown while the euro 5/6s have topodyn
