Great video!! I might be fishing Monore at the end of this month with my boys, do you recommend an area on the lake to fish? Not sure what size of the lake I should be at east or west of 446 bridge? Any advice would be helpful

I mainly fish east side in the idle zone. In April they open up Middlefork which should be hot since it’s had zero pressure all winter

Good question. I personally would start at the upper end of the lake where the main feeder creek runs in. That’s typically the most fertile water and holds the most fish. Then I would check any flats to see if they are on the flats and if they aren’t there then I would hit the creek channels

It definitely got windy out there yesterday. That’s why I was there at first light just knowing it was going to be windy by 1pm.

@@tomhankinscrappiefishingti6272 I was finding a lot of them on 20 foot 45° or more slopes I’m still new to the lake so I’m side scanning and down scanning everything and locking in waypoints but I tried Almost every lure I had in my arsenal but I never went to black and pink. What is funny, I had it in my hand and decided against it. I started in the south and stayed on the eastern side of the bank doing scanning and did some spot and Fish trying to find what they’re into/biting on just to get a general idea of the lake as I’m new to Lake Monroe. It would be nice to have a picture or an image of some configurations that you use. I know colors change and Lead weight variations Are needed for certain situation’s. But just getting a general idea as to how the fish act. Maybe not even discussing lures, maybe just getting some insight into the lake to understand their patterns would be awesome of you.
