Nice but now with Genesis, you go to the Ocean Biome, tame a giant turtle and build the cage on the back. Get under the Mosa and bring him to just below the surface. He can't get out and you can tranq him at your leisure. Works every time because the Mosa can do nothing.

Tip: if ammonites are near the mosa, hit the ammonite with an ichthyosaur then lure the mosa to the beach to make it more difficult for the mosa to run away and make it much easier to tranq and feed the mosa.

I tried to tame one on my basilosaurus and i brought 300 narcotics, 240 tranq arrows and 3 crossbows, on my last crossbow. 50 Tranq arrows left and after it was about to get knocked out the stupid thing despawned!!! like, i didn’t even know they could do that?!?!

I tried to tame one on my ichthyosaurus. Brought a ton of raw prime fish meat, 150 tranq arrows, and 2 bows. It got stuck in a rock so I managed to knock it out.. then those blue jellies started chasing after me. I kept drowning accidentally.. Tried to kill the jellies with my tranq arrows like I’ve done with Stone arrows but it wasn’t working, I didn’t know what my health was but my screen was very red ( on mobile when you’re riding a dinosaur you can’t see your health, only your oxygen and your dino’s stats) then my mosasaurus woke back up and I had to go home in case my health was low (turns out it was very low, I was nearly dead) super frustrating! Sorry that happened to you. It’s so hard to do when you have to shoot it with your crossbow, put your crossbow away so you can swim to where you need to be, then pull your crossbow out, reload it, and shoot it again.. but by the time you’re about to shoot it you have to move again. It would be so much easier if you could move in any direction while holding a weapon

Probably, just keep in mind you might need tek vacuum compartments and a generator to stay submerged for a good amount of time

They have to eat food on their own, but you need to force feed the narcotics.

I tame these guys easy with a frog. super easy to kite mosas since it can ascend or descend underwater with just the jump or crawl key. best of all you can shoot from your mount and it's surprisingly fast But I find Mosas are overrated... their turn rate is just god awful and movement is so awkward, good luck trying to get that alpha meg biting your tail. The tusos are by far the greatest sea mount. the only thing mosas are good for is being a mobile base at sea that doesn't aggro the leedsichthys

ark mobile is completely different than original ark so you might need Quetzal kibble to tame it faster
