I think the only reason the fire move thing & thunder damage around you on attack things don't work on that particular boss is that there seems to be a 1 square gap around him and those two things only seem to effect the squares around you, so he's outside of their reach.. they might still work on other bosses (not in the demo) assuming they don't also hang out on 'unreachable' platforms like that first one.

Pretty streamlined but that's not necessarily bad. I like the focus on destructible covers and the variety of perks. Relics are a bit boring atm though I'm sure it will improve as development continues.

Movement tech like teleporting, knockback, hooking enemies towards you would serve this game well if they can get the interactions right. They should add a poison dart that does zero damage but inflicts 3 poison, and procs 1 damage everyturn. Or a high damage shotgun where you can only damage in your movement range. Or a low damage shotgun that has the potential to hit multiple enemies. Idk why im ranting, thus game just has alot of potential and im excited to see more

Lovely visuals. Don't like the PC. Feels weird that the gameplay is "unfair" wherein you can seemingly just do actions before the enemies.

Seems fine to me. They take actions every 3 turns and wildly outnumber you, so having the player mistake more actions earlier feels reasonably balanced.
