Hopper Minecart's brains have changed slightly in 1.21 causeing the system to unreliable when presetting the hopper minecarts (timestamp 26:00). As such, the system could still work however it would need additional blocks between the hopers taking the filter items out and the hoppers presetting the hopper minecart. I am working on a fix for 1.21 right now. Updates noted on discord!

Just finished building this in my survival world and it's awesome! Took me a bit of post-build trouble shooting to get it up and stable but very satisfying + worth it to watch this thing run! Only issue I've had is that Mojang proclaimed "feature" where the allay will teleport out of the nether if you use a nearby nether portal-freeing itself from the containment area. Still havent found a good solution for that (unavoidable in my circumstance because I built this farm on top of the portal to my overworld gold farm), but have just been jumping to pick up the items right before theyre burned to grab the couple Soul Speed III books I needed, and now just let the stackables burn. Thanks for the design!

Awesome build! One issue I ran into was the chest minecart that collects the hopper minecarts can fall behind by enough that the bottom storage dispenser is empty when the system triggers to move a hopper minecart to the top dispenser. Once this happens 9 times there won't be any minecarts to dispense and it will break the system. The easiest fix I found was just putting another 18 hopper minecarts in each chest minecart so it kept the bottom dispensers full the whole time.

I built this monster a week ago and have been feeding the piglins upwards of 400k ingots. It works great, however there's a minor issue with the hopper minecart collection and dispensing system. Leaving that problem unadressed will result in both the pre-filling system and as a result the hopper minecart unloading system breaking. If you decide to build this, do yourself the favor of building the fix on Rocket Builder's channel immediately. It takes like 2 minutes at best and prevents issues like the one I described. I strongly recommend building this if you have a steady supply of gold. It is well worth the hassle.

Built this in my realm ! Everything works great. The only problem is skeletons, sometimes spawn in the Minecraft filter pushing the minecart collecting the first four filter items

Yep. That is how this sorter became possible. Although in personal testing, I have found hopper minecarts to sometimes need a full second to pick all the items up. It is minor but in a system like this, all those factors combined in its total potential speed.

I thought the best solution would be sending all the items to overworld and dealing with them there using ice streams. Would you make such a design and a tutorial for it?

That could potentially work but then you have to worry about loading both sides. This sorter works in all dimensions and works very fast

Probably not. The big reason is there is not a huge advantage of waterstreams compared to ice tracks in the nether. Both work well in most cases. If you wanted to DIY that yourself, it sounds pretty simple with a hopperminecart unloader for the overworld side to get the items out of the portal. Then just dispense and send them on the water stream

Edit: I fixed it. If you add 1 more stick to the bottom etho clock and change the 1 tick repeaters that power the minecart dispensers for redstone dust it works again. I still dont understand why 1 side worked fine and the other broke but this fixed the issue. Cheers I might be missing something but on the world download the right side of the system doesn't seem to work. The copper blocks seem to be getting jumbled up somehow. I thought maybe I'd done something wrong so I redownloaded it and it did the same thing. Seems like it might've broken a bit in the newest version.

Can u elaborate on the solution. Im still kind of lost. The bottom etho clock is the one under the afk spot? And what do you mean by “change the 1 tick repeaters”?

@@muaazchoudhry6437 As it's a fairly large machine it's kind of hard to explain exactly which repeaters but I'll try. It's the one he places at 31:58 and its mirror to the west. They are placed on blue terracotta. They run into blocks that are adjacent to the dispensers for the hopper minecarts. Hope that helps.

Hey. I built the farm, and the item filters didnt seem to work and after looking and teating they worked half the time so i ended up getting a copy of my world and using a structure block to try the one from the world download and the same issue persisted any idea why

Hi I’m having trouble with my item filters I’ve try fix many time but can pin down the problem cuz they keep breaking in different ways ever time. Do you know anything I could try to do to fix’s this if not I’ll just keep trying to trouble shoot it and love the vids keep them up

Have you done the bug fix in the pin comment video? Link is also in the the description. I’d be happy to help troubleshoot but my best guess is only 1 thing is wrong and that is just domino into further issues
