Have to say, Planet Slow Mo is much more interesting than the Super Slow Show. You're actually filming things no one has ever seen at those speeds before, which is both educational and highly entertaining. I particularly like the segments on filming animals (I think insects would be great subjects), as you can get so much information from the footage. Keep it up!

Fun fact, since humans evolved alongside snakes, where snakes were a big danger for humans for such a long period of time, it is physically nearly impossible not to recoil from a snake lunge. It is one of your most ingrained evolutionary instincts; recoiling specifically from snakes. It's even nearly impossible to train yourself to do it.
@MrLargonaut5 жыл бұрын

@@iMattcat I agreed. read this in bible. since adam & eve days, snakes are always dangerous
@iMattcat5 жыл бұрын
@@TheDarthmaul252 Kakarot, you are 100% correct that we reflexively react to anything that surprises us like that. But we also have built-in reflexes to different things; you reflex differently from a hot stove than from a jump-scare. However, over the period of thousands of years, the people who reacted the strongest to humans' predators would survive and reproduce. So it makes sense that we have specific reflexes to predators like snakes, eagles, and big cats, because they were always around us. The reflexes we have to these predators are nearly impossible to learn to overcome. You can train yourself to not flinch when someone slaps you, but you'll find that it is much, much harder to not flinch from a snake strike.

I don't know if anyone reads these comments, but the way cats drink sounds like it would be interesting in slow-mo.
