I’m not having those problems with mine. It gets very hot and I burnt the bottom of two pizzas very quickly. Like charcoal burnt. I’ve got some dough proofing and will try tonight and see if I can find that sweet spot.

Those little green tanks don’t put out as many btu as the 20lb tanks. I’m sure it would get hotter with one. Though I agree, the solo stove looks to be a better option.

Oh, that last New York style I made used brick cheese with extra sauce on top, if you're wondering why it looks a bit different from a traditional NY!

I didn’t have any of my problems with mine . And it does come with the Propane adapter for the green tanks. You must of missed it in the boxing .

I meant it didn't come with an adapter for 20lb tanks, which is most common to use with these pizza ovens. Green tanks run out way too fast for every day use.
