This video is the first of two right upper quadrant FAST examination videos. It details how using the right upper quadrant (RUQ) view during an ultrasound examination of a trauma patient enables clinicians to identify the collection of fluid in the Pouch of Morison. This video show ultrasound images of patients with normal findings and are free of traumatic injury. This video will be of particular interest to emergency and critical care medical professionals.
