For a day trip, I'd say max I would drive would be 90 minutes. That would get me there and back with enough wiggle room to get in a full 18, hopefully some food, in about 8 hours. I say 8 hours because the only way I'd be able to do that would be using a day of pto 😂.

90 minutes seems fair. If the course has a little history (Ross, Tillinghast design) I'd go farther. But you might be right.
