Nust is best in terms of Academic Faculty, Labs and Other Facilities count too While the CS program of FAST is thoroughly Rigourous in all semesters but you will have to lose many other facilities too which count as a standard of someone doing a bachelors and Learning when the dues are just the case.

If you live in Lahore then you should probably choose BS(CS) From COMSATS, It is Basically a Government Level IT University, The degree is much more recognized Internationally compared to FAST, The Teaching and Labs are Good for CS and SE only. Other than these two Degrees, the University is a total Joke, BS(DS) from FAST Lahore is also good but you will find the teacher's grading absolutely ridiculous because there is a difference of grading standard between the two Universities Comsats has Mostly Absolute Grading Now you will ask what Absolute Grading is so let me tell you Absolute Grading is the Type of Usual Grading which we have seen all our Life from School to College, From our First Term School papers to Board Papers Where Teacher will give you the marks you probably deserve according to the book lines and your answer If the Methodology matches you will get high score, Otherwise, you will get bad scores (Its Normal) But your Grade will not suffer as it is pre determined by the University such that Person 1 gets 26/30, He will get A grade Person 2 gets 22/30, She will get B grade Even If She Scored the Lowest in the whole Class And in this way your GPA will remain Stable if you Study Hard because there will be no Unusual Decrement in Grades and marks etc FAST has Mostly Strict Reletive Grading atleast in the Lahore Campus Reletive Grading is the non typical Type of Grading (Some O/A level Students probably knows) in which you will get grades According to the Overall Student's Performance and not by your Scores The Performance of the whole Class will Conclude your Grade I should give you an Example like Class has 45 Students Student 1-5 Scores 29.5/30, They will get A Grade Student 6-10 Scores 29/30, They will get A- Grade Student 11-15 Scores 28.5/30 They will get B Grade Student 16-19 Scores 28/30 They will get B- Grade Student 20-23 Scores 27.5/30 They will get C Grade Student 24-27 Scores 27/30 They will get C- Grade Student 28-31 Scores 26.5/30 They will get D Grade Student 32-35 Scores 26/30 They will get D- Grade Student 36-45 Scores 25/30 They will get F Grade Now you may wonder Where is E Grade, Lat me Enlighten you my Friends, Teachers have the free will to assign the grades regardless of the Grading Stairs as you know there is A,B,C,D,E and then F but your Teacher can give you F grade because he did not want to just prepare a seperate E and E- grade column in His or Her Excel SpreadSheet While even in Absolute Grading, Your Teacher can give you F grade when you are 51% but there will be a genuine or Specific reason for that like you failed in a mid or final, or your Assignment or Quiz % are very much low etc But not like the Reletive Grading where Teacher can fail you while you scored 85% + just because the other 35 students Scored a point marks higher than you Best of Luck for Your Future Study Venture

Fast university is worst university of Pakistan , since 2 years they have hired new inexperienced teachers ,who don't teach anything and if teach they teach wrong ,without teaching they give assignments ,quizes and lab tests which students know nothing about as they are not taught , so they rush to tutors , or anyone in family who r soft ware engineers compared in other universities ,nust ,lums comsats ,itu students are first taught from scrach and then tested , same system was followed by fast few years ago , but now its not a university its an institute to mint money ,plz take my advice don't get admission in this university, few years ago it was internationally recognised, now its not because of substandard teaching level ,too many tests in form of quiz ,written ,labs ,assignments, presentations, projects r not possible if students have teachers who themselves know nothing , plz never think of joining this university.
