Fast Window Cleaning Tips

In this video Reanna and I talk about a few tips on how to clean windows faster. If youre new to window cleaning I would suggest to just get down the basic movements and focus on that at first. Speed will come to you in time, but if youre looking for a few ways to easily increase your speed then here you go.

I have used the fanning method nearly exclusively. straight pulls take more movements and detailing. like you said, muscle memory helps in getting the right angle and lineup against the frame for little to no detaining. ...And that's with wide body channel. great vid guys!

I'd love to know what types of software you use for your website, crm, quote/estimate/invoice, etc. It might not be the most glorious part of window cleaning but keeping all the clients and billing organized is pretty critical to running any successful operation.

whoa... whenever I try to go faster I end up going slower - more detailing or squeegee lines.

Straight pulls using a 24" or 36" do make it faster. The micro pulls on the edge help .I don't crouch all the way to the down to the ground ( I'm a big tall guy) so I straight pull near the ground. For the past year Wagtails have been the way to go, fanning is a less wrist breaker w/ those.

As you know my friend I use 30" and 36" squeegees all the time and I personally always get good results It's just about mastering it I'm just saying

sometimes ill go from left to right to mop the right to left to squeegee but you gotta be fast about it but then you can get the ledges as you go right a second time. and boom its done. but you gotta be fast because the first window you mop is the last window you squeegee.

Guys I have a question, I've had to resubmit for my business name twice... but it's in its way with a 3rd response. anyways I've made the decision to go into buisness tap yourselves on the back because you've booth been heaps on inspiring to me. Anyways where I plan to be servicing some very nice homes and hopefully nice customers there are tons of "no soliciting" signs posted at the front of the neighborhoods how can I go in and try to get them as customers? should I attempt door hangers? or do mail outs. When I spoke with the local county about the actual buisness license and brought up door to door sales the told me I would need a permit that would be valid only for 90 days and it's $75 but they were unable to answer my question about the sign. I know it's really not something I should be obsessed about but I'm just wondering can I get into legal trouble for canvassing? thanks guys fpr all of the help and info you've already provided! you both rock!

Casey Lee congrats man ! I would follow what your local government has told you. have you looked into every door direct mail? And will they allow doorhangers in areas that don't specifically say no soliciting?

Get a webpage and AdWords specific areas heavily. you know... when people want a window cleaner they search for it on google! and the saying goes... if it's not on the internet, it doesn't exist! take care mate!

+noeliu we have one thanks , and we are ranked very well for doing all our own Seo. You want to be careful with too much keywording Google is now penalizing for over doing that . But thank you for the tips!

If it’s a specific neighborhood write down all the addresses and send them each a postcard stating to the residence of such and such address. Maybe a more little work but saving time from getting approval thru city hall. Just a idea.

I would add just a little bit of gg4. I will help prevent it from drying as fast. plus try using to hands to clean the window, 1 hand using the squeegee and the other mopping.

I my self am try to learn two handed tech and use my other hand to squeegee. so I don't take all the wear on my main right arm. also big thank you on the pole sander head with steel wool. holy shit I love that sometimes I'm too lazy to climb a ladder to do it by hand LOL and it works awesome

The 2 handed isn’t good because, the window doesn’t get a chance to soak. Needs at least 5-10 seconds soaking

Luke The Window Cleaner I do need some advice in cleaning in the sun. Is there a way to cool the glass to prevent drying of the solution?

+Daffy Dill not really. i use the two handed techinque . the mop provides constant lubricant to the glass as you squeegee this way
