Loved how into the trailer the 3 of you got and the stuttering of pure Nerdgasm was 😅🤣😂🤣😂. Its far more grounded and looks more cohesive than F9 ever was to me is didn't hit at all. It was never about racing though. First movie was about Brian finding semi hijackers, two (and four) were about stopping drug lords (and four was a revenge movie), and three was about trying to fit in in a new place. The only earlier movie that was more about racing/focused more on racing was the third movie. And I know what I'm talking about because I remember being slightly disappointed when watching the first movie. I was disappointed there wasn't much racing. Very little racing and more about detective/undercover work. I thought they would have more races like the first one with Ja Rule, but no. All the other races were very brief. And then all the races in 2 Fast 2 Furious tied with the plot. First one was to re-introduce Brian/Paul Walker. The second one really wasn't a race. Just them scrambling to get to Verone's car first to claim a package. Then the third one was to get backup cars because Brian and Roman's cars (that the police gave them) had the GPS units deeply wired into the cars and they were impossible to remove and Brian and Roman didn't want the cops ruining things for them, leading to Verone killing them and Monica/Eva Mendes. So yeah. The first couple movies were never about racing. There was racing, but the movies weren't nonstop racing.

I think that's who Momoa kills in the one truck. That truck looks like something Hobbs would drive. So I think we are supposed to assume that The Rock/Hobbs is being killed off, although it sort of doesn't make sense since I think The Rock is still willing to do Hobbs & Shaw 2. He's done with the main Fast & Furious movies. But maybe he could still do Hobbs & Shaw 2 if it's set before 10. Or maybe the vehicle is just filled with a bunch of random guys that is part of Hobbs' department.
