⚠️ Update: If you did 7 layers, and went with a solid block instead of tinted glass for the ceiling, you do not need torches because the ceiling is not within spawning range. However, if you go up near the roof at night mobs will spawn there. ⚠️ This farm is for a simulation distance of 4. If you’re playing on 6+, then the distances where mobs can and cannot spawn change. Join our Discord and I can help anyone who is confused with this! If you didn’t change your settings then you can ignore this. ⚠️ If wandering traders are spawning at the top (for people who did less than 7 layers), place trap doors also on the ceiling. Alternatively you can place a bell somewhere on the bottom and this may force a wandering trader to spawn near it.

Works amazingly with only 2 layers, took afew hours to get every button and trapdoor placed but it was worth it. About 3 stacks in 40 minutes to an hour so can be better but is great for the realm, great tutorial 👍

I need that resource pack I built a mob farm following blazedmc tutorial and he couldn’t say the best place to stand for mob rates. Said every person is different I feel like I built multiple pointless layers

Blazed actually (testifying here for his Creeper farms) has you building 2 pointless layers that are inside of the no spawn zone. I actually think it was 3, but I am gonna say 2 to avoid being dishonest. Most of these KZbinrs are not doing research man. They don’t care about you or your time, and I personally think stuff like this seriously isn’t cool. As per your question. Its Foxynotails texture pack, and shoutout to Prowl for discovering it. BlazedMC in my opinion isn’t that credible or trustworthy. Given the fact he has copied 1upMC to a T, and added his own little thumbnails.. I see through it. But whatever lol. I feel terrible for all his comments I see with no replies in desperate need. And he banned me from commenting facts on his channel so go figure.

How far away would you suggest to build away from a river? Our realm has rivers everywhere

Yeah Creeper Farms are not cheap haha. But if it makes you feel better, other KZbinrs are having people build 1-3 layers that're not even within spawning zones. So this farm doesn't waste your materials, it utilizes exact mechanics and measurements within the game, so even with 1 layer the farm will produce. I'd recommend starting with 1, and expanding from there.

Bro is the creeper spawn line same in the all world so who will made this farm should do ladders at y=210?

The spawn radius goes off the player so it doesn’t change based off height. Just make sure you’re at least 140 ish blocks high. You could build it at 210 thats fine, it doesn’t matter.

You did your buttons / trap doors wrong then. Creepers are the only hostile mobs that spawn with less than 2 blocks of height. So by adding the buttons/trap doors it ensures only they can spawn. Which tells me you messed up somewhere. Just take a breath, watch the video again to be safe, and fix the messup somewhere. Sorry you're experience this! Good luck man.

Oceans should not impact the farm. Seems drowned like to make their way in though if you’re changing the build heights. I prefer land biomes.

Thats not true at all. You probably built your first layers in the wrong spawning distances. Its a very tedious farm. Works perfectly for me in our realm. Thanks for watching!

I can confirm this guy is incorrect, after testing in a creative world, I achieved 6 stacks of gunpowder in 17 minutes. A very good farm best I’ve ever tested
