I keep seeing this comment and Barry knows that no matter what he does then Thawne will always be there sure he could throw him in the pipeline but thawne would just escape or crazy shit would happen like Barry starts going in and out of timelines again so he just let's him run off to go do whatever the only real time he shouldn't have lived/escaped is after the reverse flash point when they saved him from dying they really shoulda just let him die cuz that's the only way he could have for sure never came back but nah "the flash don't kill"

He’s finally able to beat Thawn…but can’t beat literally a random crook. This show has no consistency but I still continue to watch it😂 I’m just glad reverse flash is back, now we will hopefully get an interesting story in season 8, at least 1 good arc has to be made with reverse flash.
