A percentage trick which you didn't learn in school!

25% of 120 + 12% of 250 120/4 + (12/4)*10 30 + 30 = 60 If you want to multiply a number by 25, simply divide the number by 4 and put "00" after that. Here the number is in the form of "percentage " . hence no need to put "00" after that. Simply divide the number by 4. That is enough. You will get the answer. One more thing. 12% of 250 is nothing but equal to 25% of 120.

@Ajab Gazab I am late to the party is said in metaphorical sense, it means I came across this channel very late,not that am partying now, hell no. Also, it's easy to calculate 17% of 352 by rewriting 17 percent as 20 minus 3. 17% of 352 = (20/100) × 352 =70.4 (3/100) × 352 = 10.56 70.4 - 10.56 = 59.84 This s how I worked it out
