I know what Bill is teaching and I completely agree but this also proves one other thing... Sean Casey is one hell of a hitter
@scothusbands65054 жыл бұрын
Casey was a really good hitter... hitting line drives on the changeup. He waited and had same level swing for each.

Disrupt the batter’s timing and balance, that’s our job as a pitcher. We disrupt their timing by throwing fast and slow (changing speeds with fastballs and change ups). To disrupt their balance we throw in and out (and change eye levels up and down). Imagine throwing a fastball up and in followed by a change up low and away. Not only are you disrupting timing and balance with actual velocities but you’re also using perceived velocity to really screw the hitters up. 👊😜 My guys! Thanks for the videos!

Yeah well none of that means anything unless you've got velocity and movement.

The best part about these segments is how much FUN they seem to be having breaking down their approaches and how to train.

That’s one of the dangers of having two pitches, if one of them doesn’t work(especially the main one) you’re kinda fucked
@baileysmith47444 жыл бұрын
my coach got me doing this for fastpitch softball and in baseball (fastballs/curveballs), and it worked quite well. i had to be on the fastball, but recognise a changeup and sit on it, and i did the same for baseball but with curveballs cause changeups didnt really affect me as a right handed hitter (the ball moved into where i liked it)

There are 4 types of people in these vids 1: the guy who just wants to hit 2: the guys who won’t shut up 3: the guy who doesn’t care 4: The guy that plays the field
