It amazes me how these guys survived wrecks like these in the 80s and 90s considering the lack of safety in those times. All I can say is Glory to God

It was so cool hearing Barney Hall's voice in the background sometimes. I grew up listening to the races on the radio with him calling the action.

It amazes me how long it took NASCAR to think to put retaining fences on the tracks!

36:21 That Mark Martin #6 Folgers car was on display outside of my local Grocery store in West Tennessee and they had a crew member handing out Folgers earplug cases. I assume it was 1990 or 1991 and I would've just been a 1st or 2nd grader but I was instantly a Nascar and Mark Martin fan just from the association! Too bad they're too corporate for this kind of stuff these days because that's how you get fans!

Why do I not remember ever seeing the crash at 56:21 before?

Same bro. You'd expect a flip from a driver such as Bobby Labonte to be better known. But it seems like that's not the case here

16:01- "We've just had a massive crash with debris and cars all over the frontstretch. It's so bad we have to direct the cars onto pit road, despite there being a wrecked car sitting ON pit road. There's no way we should let them pit at the same time." NASCAR- "Nah, they're fine." Amazing some of the things NASCAR let them do in the 80s and 90s that we couldn't even fathom them allowing now.

In today they would have red flagged it and stopped ‘‘em on the backstretch immediately

I seen a black car up front alot or making good moves and surviving big crashes with repairable damage in most of these clips, hence why everyone loved #3👍💙RIP

The 2 huge crashes from 1994 at talladega. Mark Martin went full speed into a fence. How’d these get missed?

Why would it be every big crash when I noticed 3 have been left out…
