Here at Sun Distributing, we believe that the supplier of the window film should know every aspect of the business. It makes it hard when a tinter or tint shop needs support but their supplier does not know the business from one end to the other. I started as a tinter helper in 1989 and worked my way up to the point of distribution. Along the way I have put together a successful retail tint shop and know every hurdle that a tinter and/or shop owner could face. I believe that there is an extreme value to having a company with our experience in the industry having your back.

Tint Wiz™ is a CRM app designed specifically for window tint companies. Book appointments, create proposals, send invoices, schedule jobs, manage tasks, and more.

Glass Aid is a 10 mil thick protective cut resistant strip that is meant to protect the glass from your knife. It’s white color make it easy to see through even the darkest of films. It’s flexible construction allows it to easily be formed around corners and it is heat resistant so it won’t melt during shrinking. I used a black and decker 2000w heat gun I had for electrical heat shrink. Worked a treat after I had learned to tint..ish. Watching your videos about tinting gave me enough confidence to attempt tinting my own car. Side windows turned out well. Back window took a lot of attempts but I got there in the end. Lessons learned. The more expensive the film the better the finish and its easier to work with. Back windows need time and patience when your starting. Thanks again for the great videos 👍

Wagner lasted me a month at the most ever time i hated that. The craftsman has lasted me at least 4 months every time. Torch is cool, but i need a lottttt more practice with it

This is not a good comparison…The Craftsman was new; the speed of the fan was on low; and it has variable settings for the heat(120-1200)…If not mistaken, that Wagner is (700 -1200) and the fan seemed to be on a higher setting. You should have had a second person there to start the timer for you….I personally prefer the variability of the Crafstman to be able to use on more projects.

What card are you using to shrink?
@DekGT5mad
@DekGT5mad 2 жыл бұрын
Bondo card with a rag like a flannelette shirt wrapped around it. The felt edge car wrap ones are good but wear out too quickly when you're doing 6 cars a day
