Like you said, it just screams I putted around, fouled lots of plugs, and never did any maintenance, ever. Also, I never would have thought I'd like the look of a blue frame, but it turns out I do.

You can usually tell by inspecting a bike how clapped out it is. I do know where I'm from a lot of bikes are just trail ridden. As long as they are taken care off this is usually a good thing. I remember when I was racing, getting arm pump so bad that I didn't use the clutch for the last 3 laps

U can find nice 2 strokes on Craig's list in Maryland cheap. I bought an 03 yz 250 in decent shape for $650 last year put about $800 into it and now have a damn good bike.

threefiddyone I made the switch from Honda. Honda plastics fit your body a lot better, but Yamaha beats Honda in every other way. In my experience anyway. 250f's.

With chucking a wiseco bottom end in it, i reckon 15 hours and the bottom end will let go haha. Wiseco may make awesome pistons but their bottom ends are rubbish. OEM or hot rods. Everything else about the bike is sweet!

Hayden Burgess I just did a 06’ 250f and spent 2k on top of the price of the bike, you won’t get your money back... this build was probably in the 3-4K range assuming they had no sponsors, which I’m sure they did.

I think it's because the parts on these bikes are mainly given by the different companies involved so they get this exposure video in return. I guess that if Lectron give them carburators for these rebuild, they will put it on. I would not be surprised that some companies also pay to have their stuff featured.

They are jetless carbs and they automatically compensates for elevation and temperature changes. Plus they can give you more power and that also means increased fuel economy

I've got a yz250 and the things tend to rattle bolts out like crazy. I have to tighten or replace those rear fender bolts every ride or two as they always seem to vibrate loose

I kind of agree with you. One race a year stock bikes only. The Monster Million could do it. Just tire pressure and changing the clickers on the suspension. Man that is a great idea.
